My first three years here were teaching our preschoolers and I am very excited to be teaching kindergarten for a fifth year! Our most recent Ofsted inspection (November 2018) has categorised our school as outstanding in all categories. I have been at St. Thomas as a teacher since 2015. I attended ASU where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education as well as a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Development. I attended S.T.A. I have been married for over twenty years and have two sons who both attended Saint Thomas. I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. For two years, I taught middle school at another Catholic School. I was born in New York and moved to Phoenix when I was 9. When I moved to Phoenix, I was so blessed to join the Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic School community, as a classroom teacher. I live in Crystal Lake with my husband and two daughters, one entering high school and the other, middle school. Kindergarten is a big year, filled with new experiences, learning, discovery, growth and excitement. I earned a post-baccalaureate degree in Education and a Master's degree in Education/School Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I taught in Phoenix District #1, and Scottsdale District before taking a leave of absence to raise my three children. This is my first year teaching at St. Thomas the Apostle. I have been at St. Thomas Apostle since 2009. I received my BA in English with an Emphasis in Education from California State University Northridge and my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. I have my BA in Psychology, Special Education Rehabilitation Deaf Studies from the University of Arizona. This is my 3rd year at St. Thomas the Apostle. As a Phoenix native, I feel so blessed to have attended Catholic Schools in this Diocese preschool through university level.
