Just a little bit about me: I was born and raised in Phoenix where I attended St. Louis the King Catholic School and Xavier College Preparatory High School. I have been blessed to teach in Catholic schools for thirty two years. My youngest went there for a year before we moved, so as you can see, community means everything to me! St. Thomas Aquinas is my parish as well. My first four years were spent in the Dysart District teaching Kindergarten. I studied at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska where I originally began studying Neuroscience while on the Pre-Med track. Before we were even officially here, we chose St. Thomas Aquinas as our parish, so being able to teach here means the world to me! A few years later, in 2007, I earned my Master’s degree in elementary education from Plymouth State University. I have been involved with Catholic education since 1986 when I began teaching Confirmation classes and helping with High School Youth Groups in Arizona.
